Driven by Excellence

Support us-Powell Schools foundation

We need and appreciate your support. The Powell Schools Foundation is a non-profit corporation organized to encourage the involvement and financial support of alumni, friends, faculty, and staff. The foundation’s goal is to perpetuate excellence in education and to benefit students.

Supporting a Tradition of Excellence

A major gift from a Powell High School alumnus provided the catalyst to organize the Powell Schools Foundation. It is through these private gifts that the foundation enhances school programs over and above state funding levels, helps students, and provides meaningful support for future projects as the needs arise.

Make a Gift in Memory or In Honor

We accept gifts at any time throughout the year. You may choose to give in memory or in honor of someone special in your life. We will send a letter, acknowledging your gift, to the family or the person being honored.

Planned and Major Gifts: Let Us Help You Explore the Possibilities

Maximize financial benefits for both you and the Powell schools when you integrate charitable gifts into your financial, tax, and estate planning objectives.

We invite you to consider funding a Named Endowed Scholarship. Endowed funds can be placed in trust forever with only the interest used annually. Call if you’d like more information about endowing a Named Scholarship.

Annual Gifts and Memorial Donations: Get Involved Now to Make a Difference

We hold our Annual Campaign each fall. We greatly appreciate and need your annual gifts. Donors may choose from the following four funds:

1. Academic Fund. Your gift to the Academic Fund allows the foundation to respond to special academic needs as they arise.

2. Athletics Fund. Gifts to the Athletics Fund help us to continue our long tradition of competitive excellence.

3. Scholarship Fund. Your gift to the Scholarship Fund supports Powell students who wish to further their education.

4. Special Projects. Our past projects include the Bronze Panther Project and the Electronic Information Sign.
