We truly want to see our students succeed. Because many students struggle connecting abstract concepts they’ve learned in class to real life, we’ve designed and/or adopted a series of programs designed to bridge that gap. In addition to our core curriculum, we offer the following to SLC students:

• Financial literacy courses through Dave Ramsey

• Work experience

• ACT test prep courses

• Personal counseling

Often students from SLC may access Powell High School programming—and vis-a-versa. Staff from both locations work together closely to ensure that each situation is provided for with the best interests of our students as the priority. We also work closely with Northwest College to allow students to earn both high school and college credit at the same time.

Special Programs
There are additional programs available to students such as night school options and Friday school options. These programs are set up as needed.
