March's Digital Wellness installment from Powell Middle School's counseling office deals with one's digital footprint & its future impact.
This fine Monday finds us recognizing another excellent group of Powell Middle School Cubs in the Principals Pawsative 100 board. These fine students were celebrated by the staff at PMS for various behaviors and accomplishments. Way to be awesome, Cubs!
What an amazing morning! We had two rows of Principals Paws-ative 100 winners today! These students receive recognition cards for hard work, citizenship, and work ethic. They are then given a number in the office that they place on the PP100 Board in the cafeteria. When a row, or in this case rows, are filled up, the winners are called down to receive a sticker, pencil & $5 Cub Quick Stop card. Way to be excellent, Cubs!
Our Cubs of the Month for February, were recognized this morning. Students are chosen by their teachers, both core and elective, for their outstanding character, work ethic, and/or citizenship. Each student received a certificate, Subway & McDonald's gift cards, Northwest College gear and Powell Middle School swag. Way to shoot for the stars, Cubs!

This chilly Friday in January brings us another incredible crop of Cubs who won the Principals Paws-ative 100 bingo board. PP100 is a recognition program in which staff can reward notable behavior, efforts, and achievement. Way to shine, Cubs!

Our 8th grade girls basketball rounded out their middle school career & this season as the Conference Champs! Way to go, ladies!
Congratulations to the 7th grade girls basketball team who won it all to be crowned the 7th Grade Conference Champs! Way to go Cubs!
Our Robotics Club traveled to the State Competition in Casper last week and same out as the Overall State Champions. With their enthusiasm, outstanding attitude, and excellent robotic & technical skills, these five students made Powell Middle School proud. Way to go, Cubs!
Our first Principals Paws-ative 100 winners of December gathered together to receive their pencil, sticker, & $5 Cub Quick Stop gift card from Mr. Rohrer and of course, snap a quick photo. These students are outstanding!

On Friday we celebrated those students who had perfect attendance for the 1st quarter of this school year. And what a crew! We recognized 87 students from 6th, 7th, & 8th grades. Each student received a large Frazil as a reward. Way to be consistent, Cubs!
We have yet another crop of fine Cubs to celebrate today~ quite a large group ~ a two row set of winners! These students are recognized by their teachers and other staff for their hard work, successes, citizenship, and/or kindness. Way to excel, Cubs!

October Cubs of the Month are students whose core & elective teachers choose to be recognized because of their hard work, ethics, kindness, teachability and other attributes that make them stand out. Powell Middle School has an outstanding student body, and we are so very proud of them all!
