At the July 16 meeting of the Board of Trustees, members of the PHS Track Team that won State Championships were recognized. Junior Audrey Johnson was recognized for her 1st place finish in the 400m Dash. The 1600m Sprint Medley Relay team of Freshman Karcher Foley, Sophomores Breckyn Kobbe and Sawyer Wormald, and Senior Liam Taylor received certificates from the Board honoring their 1st place finish. The State Championships were held at Kelly Walsh High School May 22-24. Coaches Tracy McArthur and Marc McArthur were in attendance and briefed the board on their student athletes' successes.
