The PHS Knowledge Bowl team came home as the Big Horn Basin Knowledge Bowl champions. This is the first time in school history that Powell High School has won the competition. The traveling trophy dates back to 1982 and Powell is not listed as a winner. The Board recognized Powell – Team 1 (Champions) – Audrey Johnson, Curtis Muecke, and Colin Walker. Not pictured are team members Natalie Black and Katarina Reitz. The team of Audrey Johnson, Curtis Muecke, Natalie Black and Colin Walker also competed at the Wyoming Academic Challenge at NWC and took home the championship by outscoring the competition by over 200 points.
